असद्भिः शपथेनोक्तं जले लिखितमक्षरम्।
सद्भिस्तु लीलया प्रोक्तं शिलालिखितमक्षरम्।।
English translation of Sanskrit Quote:
Even the vows proclaimed by the unvirtuous people are like the words written on water (which are good for nothing)...however, even the casual words spoken by virtuous people are like words inscribed on a stone (which they live up to)!
